Electrical connections to wiper motor

Excuse my bad english!
I intend to by this wiper motor [url=http://www.europaspares.com/product/76/13527/WIPERS/WIPER_MOTORS/Complete_Wiper_Motor_Kit__2_Wheel_Boxes____wmk2s_.

My donater is Ford Scorpio V6 2,9 -88 (manual gearbox).

In the instructions to the wiper motor is the wiring connections
1.Earth black
2.Parking brown/light green
3.2nd Speed blue/light green
4.Ignition live green
5.1st speed red/light green

I would like to use the arm for controling the wipers from the doner.
On the doners arm:
-53 b red (to wiper motor?)
-53 green (to ?)
-53-2 black/green (to ?)
-31 b-1 brown/white (to ?)
-31 b-2 brown/yellow (to ?)
Witch of these shall I connect to the wiper motor?

Sorry, I cant enclose a wiring drawing for the donar.

Regards
Anders

On the wiper motor you need to make two direct connections from your car loom. One is an earth to position 1 on the wiper. The second is a constant live to position 4 (if you want the wiper to park if you switch off the ignition when the wiper is still running) or a ignition on live to 4 (when the blades will stop without parking if you turn off the ignition when the wiper is on).
53B connects to wiper position 3. Scorpio Red to wiper plug Blue/Green.
53 connects to wiper position 5. Scorpio Green to wiper plug Red/Green.
31B1 connects to wiper position 2. Scorpio Brown/White to wiper plug Brown/Green
And that is all five wiper plug connections made and it will park using the scorpio column switch.

53-2 and 31B2 are both used with an intermittent wipe relay.

53C is a switched wire to one terminal on the washer pump. Some ford column switches of this vintage had this as a switching earth and you have to add a fused ignition live from your loom to the other terminal of the washer pump. Other fords had 53C as a switching live so you have to add an earth to the other terminal of the washer pump. I don't know which system the scorpio used, switching earth or switching live so you will have to check with a meter when the column switches are all wired up, including the earth wire that goes to an odd extra tag on the column switch, to determine which system your scorpio switch uses.

Terminal 54 on the column switch is to supply the switch with power for all its wiper/washer functions. 10 or 15amp fused ignition live supply from the car loom/fuse box.
