Alternative Alternator

Picked this up from the Citroen Special's forum.
A small light cheap alternator - may be of use to some on here

That looks the same as mine which was for a Kubota digger and about the same price.

Wasnt there an issue with using agricutrual ones? Im sure a similar thready came up a few months back and someone mentioned that there is a potential problem with the non car alternators?

its to do with revs - they arent intended to spin so fast maybe?

The alternators on my Kubota digger and tractors seem to have small pulleys which would put the rpm back into car territory.
