Savages switches for lights

I'm using 2 savage switches, 1 for sides and 1 for dipped.
My problem is that I can switch my dipped lights on without sides meaning no rear lights and an IVA fail I guess.
Does anyone know of a simple way to wire this so dipped can turn on sies as well, or dipped can't come on until sides are on?
I'm using a tiger supplied loom.

Cheers,

Neil

Are you using relays?
Use the switch signal (ouput) from the side lights that goes to the relay, splice that to one side of the dipped switch, then take the output from the dipped to the dipped lights relay.

Not sure what amp rating the savage switches are but I would advise them, at least for the dipped/mains anyway.

If you decide not to then split the output of the side light switch to the feed for the dipped switched. That way the dipped will only work when the sides are on., and will automatically switch off with the sides.

I agree with Loggyboy.....Relays all the way if using the savage switches.....which, incidently I find amusing as I paid a fortune for mine (I have 7 on my car), and periodically, the switch faces fall off!...Apart from looking good (and they do), I think they are sh!t quality.
