Loom to chassis earth connection
My car has a number of bolts welded on to the chassis, to act as earthing points. On the loom the earth spurs consist of a number of lines run from
the various bits. How have people joind things like this together, a crimp on each wire and on to the bolt, one big crimp or some other solution?

When I was wiring in my megasquirt I was told and saw countless times that each earth should have its own terminal

Here's what I did where I had many earths:

The OE way would be multiple earths into a single suitably size crimp loop with adhesive lined heat shrink or multiple earths each with their own
crimped loop terminal.

Sorry for the selective quote.

I presume that the sizing of the crimp is the same as if sizing for a wire the same as the sum of the connected wires?

Yes basically.
You need to make sure there is enough room for all the conductors to fit and that the crimp will squeeze up tight. The adhesive lined heat shrink
provides strain relief to the joint and also some protection against corrosion. Many OE connections also use a star shake proof washer between the
fixing and the loop terminal.
