sierra ignition
Hi all, i have a question about the connection to a sierra ignition as follws:
On my Luego loom i have the following according to the instructions
Supply terminal HD brown,2 x brown(perm live)
Ignition live terminal White's (switched live)
Starter terminal White/Grey (momentarily live)
The question being which one is which, ie permanent, switched and momentarily live. pins are numbered 30,15,50, also have another unmarked which is
yellow (i think this is a radio connection) and one marked 'P' with nothing going to it.
Again i think the blk/bl is the starter connection, as for the rest all help would be very much appreciated. I hope i have managed to explain this
ok

I'm sure your right re yellow,it comes up as auxilery in my pile of rubbish which act as my files.
I am now looking for the rest of my bits but i'm sure black/blue is as you say ign feed.

OK i've got a different loom probably but mine is like this...red = supply and black ign live,black/blue is to starter solenoid and yellow wire
in ford ign switch is as we said radio or unfused accessories.
I'll try and find the pin numbers info in the next hour or so,if its like relay numbers 30 could live feed in but i'll look.

Black blue is momentary live and only carries current when the key is in the start position to throw the solenoid in. The black yellow is the switched
live and the red is permanent live. These are all you need unless you are fitting auxilliaries. Numbers are bk/y-15, bk/b-50, rd-30.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
