Sierra wiper motor conection to Vicki Green loom
Hello,
Just started wiring my sierra wiper mechanism to the vg loom and have run into problems, I can get the wipers working at the two speeds but I
can't get self parking or intermittent wipe.
The Sierra Haynes manual mentions a relay for the wiper system but the vg loom has no such thing. Do I need to get a relay for this to work? If any
of you know what colour wires connect from the Sierra wiper mechanism to the vg loom I'd be grateful.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the self park feature was done by a drive plate with electrical tracks on it
to cut the power to the motor at the right point as long as the electric signal from the dash is no longer present.
That would mean your self park problem is caused by the drive plate inside the motor, if I remember correctly the electrical tracks and pickups are
normally part of the large cam wheel and ar designed to flow power to the motor when the power is coming from the switch, but these eletrical tracks
also keep the power flowing until a certain point when the power is no longer coming from the dash switch (keeps the motor running until the park
point).
