Mounting fusebox inverted.
Has anyone experience of mounting their fusebox upside-down?
Just wondered if the fuses worked loose with time.

Nissaan do on some models which have a hidden 3rd fuse box, you will have to be careful to protect against water ingress turning it into a green mess
and if you fit relays upside down they will tend to fill up with water.

Most production cars I've had have the fusebox under the dash facing downwards, or at least at a shallow angle.

My thoughts...
A couple of small holes may prevent any accumulation.
You will need to provide a cover to avoid water ingress as the firs line of protection....
Beware of what you wish.. for it may come true....

I would avoid it if possible, I did have a computer where some of the chips were in sockets one the underside of the board, (but it did have the
keyboard on top) and they gradually 'fell out!'
on a car I suspect you would have similar issues.
though many modern connections do have barbs and such like so they are more reliable.

My Sierra fuse box is upside down and hasn't caused any problems other than changing fuses is a bit of a contortion.

To make life easier might be an idea to use LED blade fuses, when the fuse is blown they light up.
