ST 170 loom into kit car
I'm helping a friend build his Tiger Avon. His engine donor is a Focus ST170 which I would like to use the loom and ecu from. I am told that you
need to keep the instruments which my friend does not wish to do. Before I start stripping the loom down can anybody let me know what can and what
cannot be removed as there is a colossal amount of wire in this loom.
My thoughts are to remove all wiring for electric windows, airbag system and controller, any audio system wiring and anything for electric seats.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Brilliant, thanks Ugg10.. I had seen that thread some time ago but had forgotten about it and it didn't come up with my (obviously poor) search
terms. Thanks wasa for posting that thread and the other one its linked to about using the ST170. I'll start with the conversion straight away
:-)
