Rover V8 earth strap
Hi,
In the process of sorting out my engine wiring. Its a 1996 Hotwire EFI if that helps.
Where should the earth strap to the chassis go?
Theres an earth point at the front below the alternator.
Another one on the back of the passenger side cylinder head (this is very close to the battery)
Or to a belhousing bolt near the starter?
I'll russel up some pictures tomorrow.

What like throttle cable, choke cable, stuff like that.
Tee he, only kidding.
On a more serious note:-
I have welding lead cable from, Q.R. battery connection to, m8 boss welded into chassis, to bell housing / engine bolt.

From memory I used a braided earth lead with crimped on ring teminals between my Pinto and Indy chassis. Just the one earth connection seemed to work
fine for me. A second connection wouldn't hurt though - if one fails you've got the other there.
