Electric oil Presure sensor

I have a ZX9r engine in my Sylva striker and am wondering if it is possible to wire an electric oil pressure guage to the sensor in the engine. I have late ZX9r clocks in the car and the low oil pressure warning light works on there as does the water temperature guage.
If this is not possible, the car has an oil pressure guage in it but it looks like it needs a a pipe connecting to an oil gallery. What pipe can I use to connect this to the engine and how is best to do it.

I have just fitted an oil electrical oil pressure guage to my ZX9R. I removed the oil pressure switch that operates the warning light fitted a T-piece then reconnected the pressure switch to one side of the T and the oil pressure sender to the otherside. If you replace the switch with a sender unit do not screw the sender directly into the block as the extra weight of the sender will strip/crack the thread in the block.

Its also worth noting that the hole in which the pressure switch is fitted is a tapered hole.
