resistor value on caerbont speedo
my caerbont 140 mph speedo has gone on the blink so i stripped it down to have a look and one of the resistors has burnt out just wondering if any of
you happen to know what the value of R30 is on the circuit board cai aren't very forthcoming with the info they want about £35 to change a 10p

Hmmm But what made the resistor blow?... thats the real question!.
It could be a "fuse" resistor, ie a low value say 1 or 10 ohms, that is put in circuit to be destroyed and save the rest of the
electronics if something goes wrong.
Just my 2d worth.

There should be a serris of colured rings around the resister which gives a code for its value , remove the burnt out one from the board and go to an
electronoics components place and you should be able give you a replacement,
