Megajolt Shielded Cable?

Is it crucial that the 'pip' and 'saw' connections are made with shielded cable?

What have people used?

Microphone cable seems a bit feeble..........

I think it is important to use sheilded cable for all signals , a good source is a sierra loom , the crank sensor pip and saw cables are all shielded. It is also important to earth the shield at one common point and not both ends.I earhed all sheilds at the edis unit .
I have also used some shielded network cable with stranded conductors for the crank sensor signal, dont be tempted to use any with solid cores as it will eventually break.
