Shift Lights
I want some shift lights for the new build, preferably just a simple line of leds I can build into the dash and programme.
Any ideas? And before anybody suggest I should make them, you want to see my soldering.....

Try this, 4 in 1 gauge with shift light, oil pressure, oil temp and water temp.
Red line is at 12,000 rpm, so suitable for a bec.
On ebay at £45.

There is another bloke who sells them, in black with a carbon face, but they are in Oz.

Interesting that the temps are in ºF, but the pressure is in kg/cm²

Hi Jasper
If you use an aftermarket ecu, most have a shift light output, have you decided on an engine yet?

Thanks chaps I'll have a look at those......
And yes, I have an engine. It's still running in the car - I'm gonna see it run then help the guy remove it when I get back from the rally
this weekend. It's out of a mint 1999 200sx Nissan S14A, 52k full Nissan service history. The guy is giving me EVERYTHING i need including
engine & box/turbo/manifolds, intercooler, and wiring, pipes, ecu, ignition, keys, engine mounts, prop, fuel pump and really anything else I fancy
on the day for £1.1k, which isn't bad for an engine that's 200bhp as standard, but once I put an aftermarket airfilter, better exhaust
(with cat removed after SVA), cooler plugs and an manual boost controller it will be putting out nearer 250-260. I couldn't find any other
engine that gives anything like that kind of power and reliability for the money.
