vx distributor part numbers
I'm trying to get hold of a Mk 2 cavalier dizzy, coil, and ignition module for my 16v redtop, I know they are getting rare to find in the
scrappies now, anyone know the part numbers, so I can keep my eye out at the auto jumbles??
cheers, Greg

A westfield builder near me said he used a Polo Bosch distributor on his XE. Check them out, I haven't any reason to doubt him.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Seen the light Greg?
What happened to the Cozzy conversion?
I had to make a dizzy up out of two, to get mine running originally, as one had a bust casing but the right type drive, the other had the wrong
drive/good casing.
Don't know about the Polo dizzys fitting the XE, but I also used a Polo amplifier for the sparks.
HTH Stu.

Hi Stu,
Definately seen the light!!
got a redtop engine , complete locally for £150 , ta very much e-bay!!, was worth e-mailing the bloke and offering cash under his nose!,
Had loads of hassle with the cossie , conversion, the valves were hitting the pistons, and required racing ones = loads of money!, so I flogged the
head to a grasstracker for mega bucks!!.
any chance I can pop up and see your car?, take a few photos and pick ya brains a bit? before I start buying bits for it!, cheers , Greg

You think....
Good luck with the conversion though billy. Doing a BEC myself, but in addition to my other car.
Because no matter how good a BEC is, I still don't think I could be without my XE fix...
