wireing loom questions
Hi all i want to get my wireing loom from my doner ready for putting on on my kit when i get it so i dont have to mess around with it when ive got the
kit.
can any one tell me what parts of the loom and how you go about sorting it out eg takeing the bits out i dont want as i dont have a clue where i
should start.
the pinto engine that im using has a carb that is run by a small ecu type looking box
the runs the engine so i dont want to cut somthing out that i need.

Judging by your username I'm guessing your about to build an Mk chassis, Also judging by your questions, I'd recomend you get a Loom from
Mk, usually a Premiere one i think, then all you'd need are the relays for the lights/heater and wipers. I'm using a x/flow in a locost so
have probably forgoten somethings needed for a pinto install

If you want to use the donor loom, it will be time consuming but can save you a fair bit of money and everything still relates to the heynes should
anything go wrong!.
And it really isin't that dificult.
We started by tracing everything back that we didn't need (eg. wipers, electric windows, stereo, heated screen etc.), wire for wire right back
to the relevent relay, switch or fuse and cutting it completely out.
Then when your left with exactly what you need label EVERYTHING very well! (if not twice!) and shorten/lengthen to fit when in the kit.
