Small alternator for CVH
Any suggestions of a suitable small alternator to fit to a 1.8 CVH in and Indy?
Needs to have a pulley for a ribbed belt - about 18mm wide.
Thanks
Stu

Do you mean PolyVee?
Micra is a popular choice, as is Daihatsu Charade.
Or I have a 'spare' late Fiesta Zetec one - its off a W reg, is grooved and is like brand new.
£10 plus postage if ya interested...?

Might be interested in the Fiesta Zetec one.
Can you tell me roughly how big it is and which side is is designed to mount on?
Thanks

I'll get a pic of it at the weekend - remind me Monday
Its quite small - and on the Fiesta mounts behind the headlight... so you'd have to make a plate.
I also have a Daihatsu Charade - same thing - that needs a PolyVee end adding and a bracket made.
I got them all for the Zetec I'm building - but MAC#1 do an alternator bracket off the shelf for the Micra - so that's what I'm
going for
