What Lamba sensor

Hello all.
which lamba sensor do I need when using a mega squirt?
More to the point how many wires does it need.
Thanks.

I think pretty much all lambda sensors supply a value between 0 and 1 volts and i think if its got 4 wires it has an inbuilt heater to get it up to temperature quicker.
so id be guessing that pretty much any 4 wire would work, although someone who has used MS would have a better viewpoint

A lot of odd ball manufacturers specific types around that are based on different technolgies.

Unless a "wideband" or "titania" sensor is asked for I would guess a "universal 4 wire heated Zirconia" would be the best type.

I had a good look on http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/megasquirt_uk/

A lot of confusing traffic but a posting on converting a Rover V8 seems to confirm a universal 4 wire heated Zirconnia as the best choice.

Is what I have on my Emerald and planning on using the same when I swap it out for the megasquirt...

For self-tuning, I think you'll need a WB sensor...
