etb digidash2 lite
just getting car ready for sva and have noticed that my digi dash is showing speed. rpm etc but the odometer is not recording the mileage just reads
000000
tried the digi dash in test mode and have ++ under the sp on constantly and when the car is moved forward and the magnets pass the speed sensor ++
illuminates under the rp. Am i right in thinking that the ++ under the sp should go on and off as the magents pass the sensor. any ideas
hope you can make sense of this post

If your dash is recording speed then it must also record on the odometer. If it does not then it must be a faulty unit?

Tim,
Do you mean it shows speed when it's on the road being driven?
Rich.

Could prove useful on a limited mileage insurance policy

The DD2 displays to a resolution of 1 Mile or Km on the odometer display. 1/10th miles on the trip display. However it stores the distance covered to
a much higher accuracy in the internal memory. So you are not loosing anything.
Hope this helps.
The Test mode shows the ++ sign when the sensor is detects a trigger from the magnets or if fitted the bolt head sensor.
However, I believe there is a little bug in early versions of the test mode where the ++ signals are swapped from speed to RPM detect. Just give ETB a
ring if you have any problems!
Cheers,
Alistair.
