Alternator conection.

Sorry me again asking numty question.

The Battery sensor wire from the alternator.

Where does it have to connect to?
Which of the following options are acceptable?

Joined to battery feed wire.
Joined at Starter motor live.
Live at ingnition.
Live at switched ingnition.
live from fuse box.

Thought that maybe THIS might help. Although it might not be the same alternator that you have, the principles should be the same.

Do you mean the wire that provides the charge to activate the alternator coils? Basically to get it to work?

If yes, connect it to a switched live wire, otherwise if it is perm live then the car will keep on running when the ignition is switched off as the alternator will keep the electrics powered.
