ZX12-r vehicle down sensor

If anyone can help..

My engine did not come with a vehicle down sensor - not a problem - but ..

Three wires into it +12v , ground and the output which goes straight to the ecu... so does the ecu need 12v, ground, another voltage to make it think its connected??

If no-one knows can some kind chap stick a voltmeter on the output for me...TA

So - if you're upside down what will stop your engine?

Seriously - if you're stuck I could help our bike down sensor is located near the battery which is low down in the rad/engine void so difficult to access. What wire feeds are there in particular the ECU - I could measure that when fired up possibly Thursday evening.

Hello,

In the service manual, it said.

the yellow and green wire needs between 0,4 and 1,4 volt then the engine will run.

But try too get a sensor because when good placed it also cut the feul in an accident.

Thanks for the reply guys...

Malc (Top Bloke) is going to send me up one which is probably the best thing if it gives out a variable voltage..
