Bike headlamp??

do you reckon any of these headlamps would work on a locost? Im looking mainly at the 5" chrome one about 4th down.

http://www.vixens.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Headlights_14.html

Could it be modded to fit a car and would it be legal. The price is good, thats for sure.

cheers
fin

Dont see y not, except will be a much flatter profile, so will maybe not look as good as the very domed ones. Also, what's the view from the back, may have the wires/bulb terminal hanging out.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i saw a 2cv on my way to school today and had decided to tell Fin about them as they would be cheap looks like you got there before me viper!

however if they are good enough for a 2cv they're good enough for me! another item on the shopping list i think.

Headlamps

Has enyone considered head lights off a JCB OR MASSY DIGGER.?
We had one on the site where I work and it had a set of lights with indicators built in. From memory they were about 6 inch lights.

Tractor lights.

The black plastic ones they sell cheap at shows are from an Ursus tractor, east european. I used them, £30 a pair with wiring and bulbs when I got them. They dip to the wrong side but you just turn the lens 1/2 an inch to correct that. What I meant with the earlier post was if the Bates lamps were o.k. then the others should be.

Bike headlamp

Saw the headlights at the Vixen-page and went to page 9.1 of the sva-manual.
The say the dipped-beam and main-beam should be marked BS AU40.What about these lights?
