Rev Limiter
Can anyone recommend a rev limiter that will coexist with a megajolt, the soft cut is not enough as the "old" crossflow want to rev
straight past 7250!!! Cant seem to find a concensus of what will work within megajolt so want to fit an adjustable standalone one if poss.

My version of Megajolt puts the timing to 0 degrees at or just before the rev limit, makes the engine go really flat, I'd be surprised if your
engine would want to rev on at that setting.

I had the soft cut limiter set at 5250 and you can hear it cut in but if you are going some it picks up again after about 5.5 5.6 and revs onwards and
upwards!! hence i want a hard cut limiter, i know ther is an output for one but cant seem to find consencus on what will work.

Without looking at my map i cant remember , but mine soft cuts at 5750 then really flat at 6000rpm , I may have arranged my map so that the last
value is zero degrees @ 6000 for example.
Is the standard soft cut 10 degrees or zero?

I am running a crossflow with the soft cut set to 6000 and find it works ok, it pops and bangs and would pull through it if I kept my foot down but it
is good enough to stop me getting to carried away.If you just want a failsafe in case of missing a gear then why not use a relay to cut the coil
supply ? i know the reasons against it such as misstimed sparks etc but as it would nort generally come into operation i would take the risk.
I also thought of using a relay to either cut or short out the VR sensor leads, this would cause the edis to cut out and then back in again at the rev
limit but theroretically the sparks would be timed correctly.
