Anti- theft device query.?
I have no normal ignition switch..
Im using a flick up switch and button to start
I also have a three postion switch where you can take the key out in two postion ie.. switch postion to run and remove the key
switch too not run and remove the key
i know i need an anti-theft device as well as a nomal ignition switch
I dont suppose they will allow the flick up and push button as a Normal ignition switch..Or do they
If not can i fit a basic fia type switch (just the one connector type)
to the main flick up switch feed, therefore not allowing power to the flick up switch.??
hope that makes sense

I used a battery isolater from Merlin Motorsport.
Its a battery terminal with a green twisty wheel - you put it on the negative terminal - that should count as at least one form of immobilisation.
They're about £7 + postage - have you got a steering lock ? That should count as the second...?

If you believe you're not crazy, whilst everybody is telling you, you are - then they are definitely wrong!

I take it you won't be keeping the steering lock, as that is an anti-theft device. I passed the SVA with just a normal ignition key and a
steering lock.
