Fireblade loom questions, oil pressure, cts and speedo.

Worked out why my neutral light wasn't working, for some reason the Westfield part of the loom to mate up with the fireblade loom is missing.

Not a problem as I've now traced the connection which has enabled me to identify a connector or two, but...

The oil pressure switch connection shown on the left, I assume this is the "low oil pressure" light for the dash?

The CTS I presume is the one for the dash rather than the one for the ECU?

I also noticed a 3 pin connector (on a short length of wire) on the top of the gearbox. I'm 99% sure this is the speedo drive. This must be a directionally proportional output given that it must take the gears into account (ie. be on the output shaft). So can I just use its output into my Acewell rather than any of the external hall sensors? Clues how to?

Also, anybody know RS, Farnell etc part number for these 2 connectors. They have 1/3rd width female spades but I'd prefer a nice connector rather than taping some spade crimps in.

Yes the original bike clocks have a oil light

Again the original bike clocks have a temp gauge

The output may well run your Acewell, may just need calibrating

The spades themselves are available from Vehicle Wiring Products, the plastic body is Honda special, I may have one, as may many others who have chopped up bike looms?

Thanks for that.

Neither my 919 or my 954 clocks have temp gauges on them (analogue ones) but they may have ones on the displays.

Getting very close to just needing some fuel in the tank before I can confirm temp/pressure/rev etc all work too
