Small production headlights - where
Chaps,
As I'm in the process of remodelling my bonnet, I'm thinking of doing away with traditional "7" type headlights and
incorporating some into the nosecone.
They need to be small (and prefer one light for main and one for dipped), and may be part of a unit (I saw a BMW Z4 and they look promising).
I've no probs dismantling the "unit", as constituent parts can have mountings moulded into the new bonnet.
Any other suggestions much appreesh
Cheers

The favorite ones to use are the Hella range. 90mm iirc and they do dip & main (with the option of side lights)

When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

Donkervoorrtisthisnamelongenough integrated S2 Elise lights into their car. Looked good.
I noticed that the VW Polo or maybe fox, the current model, has some nice and compact round lights. Or even the current model nissan micra, might be a
bit big, but there were plenty on ebay when I toyed with the idea a couple of weeks ago.

Your best bet to get an idea of what's around is to take a stroll around a large car park. A lot of modern cars have 2 individual units mounted
behind a clear glass (VW & Peugeot are ones I've noted), would imagine these could be dismantled to be remade into what you want.
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Are you SVAd?
Will you get the spacing needed for dip beam and the distance from the outside edge if you build them into the nosecone?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Pete,
Yeah, SVA'd so no worries there
I will be widening the nose cone by about 5" a side to allow for air exit behind rad. I will incorporate position/ind/dip lights in the
"legal" position. The main beam will either be via "pop-up", but more like pop-out roughly where the mounting are currently or
possibly "semi-tunnelled" into the top of nose.
