SVA 2 Sec Devices.

As stated in another post i need to mod my system a bit.

Is it save enough that when the card is pulled that everything shuts down, lights, engine etc. etc.

and when the real key is pulled only the engine shutsdown?

my idea is that when the card is introduced but the steeringkey not that the system says that you need to insert key to be able to start.

when only the key is inserted i don´t want none of the system to do anything...
(its to easy to fool)

Tks

What you are suggesting is that your "steering key" when in place will provide a signal to your security card that it is ok to start the engine. Once the key is removed the engine will stop?

This seems ok as the engine cannot be run with the steering column key removed and the steering lock activated.

Whether or not the sva inspector would like the set up, I really don't know.

As said on the previous post, just the steering column lock is ok for SVA. Can you not fit your other idea after SVA?
prepare the wiring beforehand, but not connect it up?

It is essential though to make sure you cannot run the engine with the ignition key out and the steering lock activated.

Cheers
