Help needed with hazard wiring on Sierra column switches

I want to remove the push button hazard switch on the top of the sierra column, cos it's gonna get in the way the my dash system.

It seems to have two brown wires going to it - is there any reason I can't just cut these and redirect them to a rocker style hazard switch and place it somewhere else?

(God I hate wiring indicators and hazards....)

Holy sh!t!

Cut and shut made easy.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
