Veypor VR2
I have just got one of these.

Has anyone used one AND used the propshaft rather than a wheel for the speed sensor?
I need to know if it will come within range before I strip the car and wire it in?

Your only problem is working out the calibration as your prop will turn at a different rpm to your wheels.

Yes, I guess thats just a case of circumference, divided by 3.62 (diff ratio) its whether the thing will calibrate down to that or moreover run up to
that speed?

Put the magnet and sensor on one of the inboard cv joints at the back. You can use the original wheel circumference as your calibration. And the
sensor and magnet are up out of the way, and easily accessable if needs be.

I'm trying to use what came with the unit and basically it only needs power, a tacho feed and a speed(wheel?) sensor input.
I can get all that by just lifting the batt tray/scuttle and get at the prop/adaptor ands have it done. Rather tahn stripping all the tunnel out, and
I already have the main speedo sensor on the driveshaft at the back.
