Transponder Immobilisers
Anyone have a recommendation for a thatcham approved transponder (not touch pad) type immobiliser which I can fit to my GTS? I know nothing about how
they are installed etc do they rely on a door signal to show you have exited the car, or do they just auto arm once the key is removed? (I know they
work using RFID etc)
There are loads on ebay ranging from about £30-£100+. Being a skint student, I would obviously prefer a cheaper one
Cheers,
David

Try this
I fitted one of these. Worked well and looks ok on the dash. Also can be set to over ride if you are playing around with the car and don't want
to keep having to disarm it.

just leave the keys in the ignition, no one will dare take it as they'll think its a police trap car
or do what I do and have a huge number (53 in my case) on the roof!! handy for spotting your car on the telly

What roof?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I fitted a toad immobiliser to mine. Cost me £40. It is thatcham if fitted by a thatcham approved installer but mine doesnt qualify as i fitted it
myself.

Cheap as chips, sounds good for the money anyway. Time will tell!
