ZX9R wiring
I have done most of my wiring now, and i have a couple of questions:-
1:- i've fitted the bike loom to the rad fan and the radiator switch, can i re connect the car loom to the fan so i can use my overide switch,
and do i need to use the car loom relay for the rad fan.
2:- i have also connected my ignition feed to the starter relay, so i can use my original sierra switch to start the engine, but how does this power
the bike clocks, as when the ignition is in position 2, there is no feed to the clocks.

you have to splice position 2 into the bike loom too, as the 'running feed'. I think this equates to the start/stop switch.
With your fan, you can do it two ways safely. Either use the bike loom and extend it specifically to an override switch, or use your existing wiring
and connect it to the bike fan switch (which might well be in your existing rad anyway). Linking the two together is not advised unless you know them
both well - what if one was switched earth and the other switched live?!

jeez im fast...
on the bike loom the fan is fed from fuse 6, to the fan, to a switch, to earth. Blue and yellow wire goes from fan to switch, splice a wire into this,
run it to the dash, and have an override switch to earth there.

Slight thread hijack
As most of the ZX9 posse seem to be involved on this thread, I thought I'd ask for recommendations (and prices) for an exhaust manifold for a
ZX9 engined Locost.
Cheers

between 2 and 4 hundred depending on where you go. Cheapest is to find an off the shelf exhaust from one of the manufactures, next best is get on the
them to make it for you, worst is to go to any old exhaust place to get a custom one.
