ARHHHHHH another wasted Day!!!

I have just spent the day in garage trying to work out how the hell my electronic speedo works!!!!.

Under advice I tried a Vauxhall part to convert the speedo cable drive into pulses. (I’ve never sodding well liked Vauxhall but that’s my personal opinion!!!)

I’ve tried all sorts, and nothing, nada, squat diddly squat!!!.

I've tested the speedo, and know it works. So I now need to source and try another transducer of some description. So I’m back to researching on the internet.

ARRRHHHHHHH. This is the only sodding thing stopping me from applying for my SVA!!!!!!

Having vented, I now feel much better, and shall put my toys back in my pram.....

Thank you!!!!

Cheers,

The Baron

Have you tried an old ABS sensor ?

Two wires only, reacts to both lumps of metal or magnets.
