Round Fog Light - Mounting Vertically

I've got a Perei LED round fog light and a nice round plastic plinth (form Europa). But the angle of the plinth isn't enough to mount the light vertically on the Avon and there isn't enough spare material to cut it to a steeper angle.

Short of extending it with fibreglass, has anybody got any good ideas for a longer round LEd light plinth?

Thanks

I used a small piece of 8mm vacuum pipe to space the top of the fog light away from the plinth so it was vertical.

Both good thoughts - top needs to be in total about 1" further out than the plinth so either of those could work

I'm intending to use the same set up, but for the test I am proposing to use a bolt on type and adjust it so it sits upright and then after the test change it to the set up that you are proposing.

Looking at your photo's, I see that you have your wiper system set up, can you tell me the centers of the wipers and the distance that you have set them back as I'm about to fix mine?

Many thanks |Steve

I fitted the windscreen brackets - front hole in place as per the book - and a temporary cardboard windscreen, then worked back from there. They're about 1 1/2" from the screen and I think 26cm apart, but I can't measure them until somebody comes to fix my stuck garage door!

I made an angle bracket fixed into the underneath of the rearmost rail and fixed a square foglight to it, adjusted until it was vertical... need to make sure it is still high enough, though!

After SVA I fixed a round one onto the back panel at an angle...

Well either you didn't get a lot of sleep last night or you were up all night trying to get into your garage.
