Micra alternator

searched and didnt find anything on this.. i just got back from the scrap yard with a micra alternator, and i cant help but wondering how am i supposed to use it on the Pinto. the pulley on the alternator is completely different...

did i miss the little detail that the micra alternator is just not supposed to be used on pintos but only on zetecs?

i've got an alternator from a micra on my pinto. i got one off an early 1990's micra with a V belt pully wheel.

can you not swap the wheel from the ford item onto the nissan alternator.

the alternator i got was from a 90s micra, the K10 two models below the current one. i suppose i can swap the pulleys, havent tried it yet but my pessimistic conscience tells me they wont be compatible....

I think my alternator is from an early Micra. Mac#1 supplied it along with a new bracket set to make it fit on the block. Pulley was OK on mine.
