going by the picture, no markings on the lens so not SVA compatable

One other bit to check is that technically for SVA / MOT the brake light needs to be a separate filament to the normal rear lights. With LED's they are often the same LED just comes on brighter which is not allowed.

look alright but you'd need a seperate fog and reverse (if you have one).

I think they look pretty cool. Rules on LEDs for brake lights seem to be a bit variable. There are a lot of Busses in Edinburgh with LED hamburger lights where side and brake are the same LEDs. I thought SVA required that the tester is satisfied thatthe lights are as bright and visible as E marked ones?

IIRC you do not need to have an 'E' mark for SVA, but they need to meet the testers requirements in terms of brightness and radii etc.

An 'e' mark is just an easy way of telling that thet 'should' be ok for SVA.

Dont know about SVA'ability but i have seen a few cars around with them and they look pretty cool. Better than the LED hamburger that busses have imo

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

some of the buses round here have led lmaps - not sure if they are hamburger ones but the rear side lamp has some Leds (possible in a triangle confuguration) on but when brakes are applied all LEDs in the circle come on.

It's ADR (dangerous goods?). So no "E" or "e" would be sounding strange....
