Headlights

I've got some headlights which I believe are off a Westfield. Is there any way of telling which one should be on which side. The glass lenses are slightly different and one says drive about 1/3 of the way up and below it says 'left' but that's it. Any ideas?

I agree with nib1980 headlights are not handed, but they can be left/continental dip.

Headlights shouldnt be handed but if they say left on one then it might well dip the wrong way.

Ah right. I know they both dip to one side but I thought one dipped more, so as to focus on one point. Cheers

I thought that dipping to the left was correct for the UK... otherwise you'd be blinding oncoming traffic! Depends which way you're looking at it, I suppose.

Usually there's a little arrow moulded into the glass that shows the dip direction. If it points both ways, <--->, it's a bike lamp!
