Not sure what to say here, there is a Haynes manual about installing car audio, might be worth investing? Has good info on size of wiring needed,
common mistakes, etc.
CD player should be pretty straightforward, it should just plug into the car's headunit connector (maybe be ISO or not, in which case
you'll need an adaptor, see http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product_list/c_path/48_207/spd/wiring-harness.html for new wiring
harnessses.
Amp and bass box will obviously be in the boot, you'll need to lead a wire from the positive battery terminal for the amp, again this is where
the Haynes would come in useful for working out gauge of wiring, etc.
You'll also need an earth point for the amp in the boot somewhere, on my Rover 200 there was a screw ready fitted for this purpose luckily! I
just scraped some paint off to get a good connection.
As for all the terminals and such that you might need, Halfords was a no-no for me, Maplins stock a range called "Shark" audio, which
seemed good enough for me, and costs about 5x less than halfrauds did!
You'll also need RCA leads (not sure how many of these, depends on your new stereo and amp) from the H/U up front to the amp in the back, these
can be bought from anywhere.
If there's something specific you need to know I'm sure someone will be able to answer your question! Good luck

Just found this http://www.caraudiohelp.com/how_to_install_a_car_amp/how_to_install_a_car_amp.htm it actually looks more helpful than I
thought!
To clarify, I bought terminals, fuse holders, fuses, amp wiring, new battery terminal.
You could purchase an amp wiring kit if all the wire lengths match up for you, that'd mean you've got everything in one package.
For the wires from the battery, I already had a small plug in a hole in the bulk head, I think most cars have these? But don't quote me on that,
it might take some hunting for!

Ive fitted a few ce systems some time ago. Mostly it is fairly straightforward. Head unit no problem. Amo will need feed, earth, signal cables and
wiring to each speaker. Wheh sitting feed to amp, assuming you take it direct from battery - fit fuse at each end. Dont run signal and feed in same
run to avoid cross talk. Unless its high end stuff std wiring should be ok. High end gear benefits from better quality interconnects.
It gets all complicated when you try and maximise bass response and try to wire in component systems. Its tricky to choose stuff that will sound good
in a car.
