Brake Lights
Hi. I am having trouble with the brake lights on my Stuart Taylor Locosaki. The lights are run by a pressure switch and only come on when i brake
hard. Any ideas on how to make them come on earlier?

I've heard abou this problem before - IIRC there are two types one @ 3Bar the other lower one at 1Bar pressure. Course I guess I'll be
corrected!
Just a different "Head" Required maybe...
also check location and possible air lock on the T piece (if you've done it this way) where the sensor is!

Or otherwise get rid of the hydraulic switch completely, and fit a microswitch to the brake pedal assembly.
Trouble is, the hydraulic switches are designed to be used with 'heavy' road cars, where the pressure in the hydraulic system to operate
the switch is not enough to significantly 'brake' the car. With something as light as a Locost, the same pressure is generating a fair
amount of stopping force.....
HTH Stu.
Dont just build it.....make it!
