Megasquirt q

Just a quick q. The serial output : is it an averaged output, or is it the raw ADC value that is sent?
On my ecu i made i use an averaged output so i would assume it would be the same with megasquirt, but we all know what assume makes!

I`ve lloked on the web but get no joy.
