modern sports car lights
hi there
ive got some rear lights with the modern sports car lights with 3 pin connectors for brake and side and 2 pin connectors,
hoe do i tell which pin is for which purpose
thanks for help

Got a meter? You could simply remove all the bulbs apart from which one you want to find out which pins are for and if you get a reading, then that
will be the pins for that bulb.
Or alternately just get a 12v battery and a couple of wires and connect the pins up a two at a time and see what lights up, you can't blow up
anything. Mind that one pin will most likey be the earth for all the bulbs.

If they are the 98mm dia,two hole fixing ones then the earth is at one end , brake light is in the center and back light is the other end .
Not sure which end is which , I have a feeling the earth pin is a sort of brass like colour .
Its cuz I is blond , innit

Find the earth pin and you are nearly there. Then apply 12V to the other two pins in turn and voila!
