Have you looked at Demon Tweeks Motorcyle Direct. They have some repeaters for bike fairings that are pretty small. Check out their web-site and look at Micro fairing indicators.

Your lights don't have to be E marked or, more importantly, the approved E mark for that use (car lights differ from bikes). They just have to be of "similar brightness" to the approved marked lamps.

That's what I was thinking... none of your lights HAVE to be e-marked. Just fit for purpose.

Which brings me onto... LED strips!!!

No - not for detailing (chavtastic)... for the rear lights!

I would like to try and have 3 horizontal strips on either side running parallel to each other and wrapping slightly around the rear corners.

If you look at this Lotus picture... forget the light cluster, but concentrate on the 2 grooves. Imagine 3 of those filled with the necessary LED's.

Am I pushing the boundaries of acceptability?
