Acewell circuit adaptor

Ok electronic gurus heres one for you. When the acewell rev counter wire is wrapped round a plug lead on a wasted spark sytem them presumeably it reads the revs as twice as much. So how would you suggest a way around this using a small circuit perhaps?? Oh and you'll need to explain in in very general terms/diagrams please.

Yep, just go through the settings and on the RPM you can choose 0.5, 1 or 2.

Mine is set to 0.5 as well reading the revs off the Edis...
