fm radio ariel

The radio on my new 205 has been removed and the ariel cable has been cut off.

Does anyone know if you can buy connectors that you can use to splice 2 bits of car ariel cable together so i can just add another foot onto the end of it and put a radio back in?

locoboy,

I have cut and soldered a few ariel coax cables in the past (cut cable and resolder with different plug on the end) - worked fine each time - audio nerds will probably turn their noses up tho!

regards

Steve

You should be able to get new ends at any car audio shop, because some cars have odd aerial connectors (like Vauxhal) so when you put a non OE unit in you have to change the end.
