Any you guys fitted a rapid fit loom to a sierra late column cant seem to get the lights to work or figure out why the coil feed seems to run from the lights relay............. .sorry side lights do work no main or dip.
I am running a H and H dizzy with a DLB 707 coil supplied recomended set up do i need to earth the body of the coil as there is only one wire in and two out via a plug to the dizzy . should run a new supply and fit a ballast reistor to the coil becase for the life of me cant seem to work out why wires go through the light relays and not just through fuse and out . and dose this coil need a ballast reistor as it a later type ....................hope you can help

You need lotusmadandy to sort that for you, he has sorted two already! I'll ring him and ask him to get in touch. I had exactly the same problem, seems the looms all have the same errors. I think the relays are wired the wrong way round. Ring Andy now.

I seem to remember that early Sierra columns switch positive to the various controlled circuits, whereas the later ones switch earth.

Or it could be the other way round

But your loom would have to match the type of column switchery.
