Where to get Coiled Wire for Steering Buttons?
Does any one know where I can get one of the coiled flex wires that are used to connect quick release steering wheel buttons et al to the cars
electrics. I have seen them many a time on race cars dangling below the quick release boss and connecting into the dash, usually with a jack plug and
socket to disconnect them when the steering wheel is removed. Any ideas?

I thought of using an old keyboard wire... but it's pretty thin stuff and only designed for 5v I believe.
That severely limits the current you can use.

I found the stuff on RS but they wanted over £6 postage! Tried Maplin as well but they only do white and I was after black.
