Rover 825 central locking problem

I have an intermittant problem with the central locking on my Rover Sterling.
Sometimes when driving along, the central locking with lock all the doors..clunk.
Dont have to hit a bump or be on a rough road..other times no problems.
could it be a weak solenoid in one of the doors?
Any ideas?
How do i prove it?
How easy is it to take off the door trim?
thankyou
Jon

Depends on the year of the car but some 800s have a collection of relays inside the drivers door that are known fill up with water.

Other wise look at the wires where they pass through the and the MFU.

If nothing obivious the only other option is a session on Testbook but it is unlikely to show up anything.
