Quick TPS question this time

I have a ford TPS on my zx6r carbs. Which wire goes to where. (Using megajolt)

I assume one's earth, one's live and the other goes to the megajolt??

Thanks
Dan

So:
'A' is earth
'B' is to megajolt and
'C' is +12volts?

Inside the TPS its just a potentiometer.

Like this. http://sub.allaboutcircuits.com/images/05112.png

So you ground one side and supply the other with a reference voltage (vref). Then the central contact outputs a voltage between 0v and vref dependent on position. With the megajolt this is set up such that voltage increases with throttle opening.

See here.
http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_vehicle_installation_guide#TPS_Sensor_operation

Hence the central one will always go to the tps input, but the 1st and 3rd pin will vary depending on the layout of the tps and installation.

Hope this makes sence.

Yes that makes sense. Is the feed to the tps +12 volts??

the "feed" is the vref signal from megajolt so 1 wire goes to ground and two wires go from the tps to the MJ unit.

I believe its labelled as "VREF" and "TPS" on the megajolt wiring diagrams.

I did mine last weekend too! because there are only three wires I just tried the various wiring possibilities until i got a sensible tps reading on the megajolt tuner..
