Innovate / JAW Schematics?

Anyone got any? Im after a cheap version of a Fuel / Air system, and was thinking it might be cheaper to make one, though ill need firmware and software to go with it.

Anyone done this before?

I bought a £210 innovate LM1 which was broken when it arrived so i sent it back and dont really have any confidence in consumer electronics as they are thrown together.

I bet Lars has the schematics too.

£80 is damn cheap considering the lambda probes cost around £50.

Have a look on eBay for LC-1 kits - I just got one for £120 inc postage. You can just add your laptop as a temporary gauge for setting everything up, or have a permanent dial on the dash for a little extra cash.

I trader I bought mine from is 'StreetRays' but he doesn't seem to have any at the price I paid - might be worth a peek though.

thanks scudderfish and Matt

I actually just checked the website and it seems that JAW is now discontinued, and also they dropped their prices slightly before discontinuing, so I will let it go for £70 posted,

I will have a look to see if I can find a schematic.

To build the JAW system from scratch I think you will need Programmer for the Microcontroller.

Thanks guys.

Reason for asking is because of my Innovate experience (though they refunded no problems etc) and i did see your post Lars, but wanted to look into producing my own if poss.

Only issues i have really is the schematic and the software / firmware for the processor.

I could not find a schematic, unless you would like some close ups of the JAW I have.

All the software/firmware, etc is here

Unless things have changed, you can't build a JAW from scratch without a pre-programmed microcontroller. The JAW firmware is closed and only published as an encrypted binary file that requires a special bootloader in order to program the micro's memory with it. The bootloader is not available to be programmed into a fresh micro.
