Could someone identify a wiring symbol please?

Just wiring in my immobiliser and come across a symbol in the diagram which I think means cut a previously joined connection but I just want to make sure. It's a dotted line with 2 // through it a bit like this

It's in the following link and is the symbol inbetween the two grey wires in the middle.

It means cut the wire there

Cheers fellas, I thought it did but given the stupid manual doesn't even mention these grey wires I thought I best double check.
