mirrors that overcome repeater position problem

been looking for these for a while, but being america most use a red turn signal, or just have forward facing repeaters, but at last found the ones with an amber arrow in the mirror and a light on the back of the mirror, so mounted as high as pos on the scuttle the repeater should be visable from all angles it needs to be, and they look quite stylish mirrors as well

and these could have the white front led wired as a marker light if you wanted

Will those pass IVA. I thought you were only allowed one side repeater each side and those are two seperate lamps. Neither of them will meet the angle requirements on thier own.

One of the lads who works for us has just got a new VW Golf. The mirrors have repeaters in them but there is also a small telltale lens just inside the lip on the mirror side. I'm not sure what the point is as when I was in it whenever I signalled left to move back over on the motorway, I caught a glimpse of flashing orange and my initial reaction was that there was a car inside me flashing to pull out. Anyway, back to the point, as this is an additional lens on the same lamp, would this be considered to be a separate repeater? If not, could something similar be done to satisfy IVA?
