F marked fog light
Im after a rear fog light for my 7.
Ive already got a nice looking one, but even though its E marked, its not F marked, so not IVA compliance.
so where can i get a really cheap F marked light from? The cheaper the better.

Local Auto shop should be about £6 for one of the Ring square versions can be fitted 1 bolt and replaced with your nicer one after IVA. loads on the
Bay too.

mmm yeah, bought one not that long ago and sod's law just chucked the box couple of weeks ago. Best to check at local auto or ask on the Bay to
be sure.

Square ring lights. They still wont pass iva at some vosa centers. Some have failed due to the one mount not being ridgid enough.

Where about in the IVA Manual does it say they have to be F marked? All I can find is
"All lamps must emit light of an equivelent brightness and colour when compared to an e marked lamp of the same type"
Chapter 20 page 3 point 7.

It states:
12.All rear fog lamps must display an “e” or “E” mark with a “B” or “F” (see note 2)
I would also prefer one of the square ones, as they will be 10x easier to get it vertical.
i think i will email some of the ones on ebay to double check the rings are marked correctly.

Cheers for that -matt and blake82. I have seen it now. I think I may be in luck as mine have an e mark and just above it there is a "00-f"
mark which I hope is the correct one.
I got mine from;

The fog light ref is MD35. They are selling them for 1.77 Euros and I also got a reversing light from them ref MD 40/p also
1.77 euros.
I do not think you will get them much cheaper than that, I paid £5 for both 18 months ago so prices have dropped since then.
